SP Ashutosh Bagri, along with the in-charge and police personnel of the four police stations of the city, also came out with a log in his hand. During this, wherever any disturbance or any suspicious was found, he was chased by sticks. The SP, who came out from the main roads and markets of the city to check the dhabas-hotels on the highway, was also seen advising the traders to shop fearlessly in the markets.
On Wednesday evening, around 6 pm, the SP called the police station staff of Kotwali, Civil Line, Station Road police station besides Mahila police station. Here the SP put a stick in everyone’s hands and caught a stick himself. First this march started from MM Road. During this, many people were seen drinking liquor in the basement shop under the country liquor contract near Nehru Park, who were chased away by policemen including the SP. After this, Girls College Road, Girls School Road, Gopinath Ki Pulia, Main Bazar, Jiwajiganj, Sadar Bazar etc. came out in the areas. During this, many youths ran away after seeing the police, then caught them and interrogated them. When the SP entered the old district panchayat with a stick, many youths were seen sitting in a suspicious condition in the premises. After interrogation, they were released after giving advice. After the main market, the SP checked several dhabas and shops apart from a big hotel on the highway. During this, the shopkeepers were told not to sell items like liquor, ganja, do their business fearlessly, the police are stationed in the streets and markets for your safety.
Collector visited Swadhar Greh, Kitchen, One Stop Center
On Wednesday, along with Collector B Karthikeyan, District Panchayat CEO Roshan Kumar Singh, Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Jain, etc., first came to inspect the Deendayal Rasoi scheme located on VIP Road, where the collector found five people eating food. When the collector took feedback on the quality of the food, the people who were eating said that the food was better. After this, the Collector inspected the District Disabled Rehabilitation Center, One Stop Center. 5 women were present in the one stop centre. After this, the collector reached the Swadhar Greh by the Women and Child Development Department located at Barokhar, where 35 women were present. Assistant Director Women and Child Development Department Shri Amb said that about 30 to 35 women are present in this Swadhar Greh at all times. In which there were women from Guna, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Bhind, on this the Collector said that the women of Guna, Shivpuri should be shifted to Gwalior or any other district. In the end, the collector inspected the blind Red Cross School. 32 students were found present in the hostel, four students were not present in the hostel due to disability. The collector reached the old age home to inspect the rain shelter being operated by the Municipal Corporation, where no person was found. On this the collector expressed his displeasure.
