Stock Market: Break on the decline in the stock market for six days, Sensex jumped 140 points, Nifty also on green mark

On Monday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market started trading on the green mark, putting the brakes on the continuing decline from the past days. Both the indices of the market opened with gains. On the one hand, Bombay Stock Exchange’s 30-share Sensex jumped 140 points to open at 53,500 level, while National Stock Exchange’s Nifty gained 25 points to open at 15,318 level. It is worth noting that on Friday, the last trading day of the last week, the stock market closed with a fall for the sixth consecutive day. The BSE Sensex index fell 135 points to 51,360, while the NSE Nifty index lost 67 points to close at 15,293.
