Stock market news: The Indian stock market closed flat today on Tuesday. The Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex closed at 74,683.70, down 0.08 per cent or 58.80 points. At the time of market closing, out of 30 Sensex shares, 11 shares were on the green mark and 19 shares were on the red mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty closed at 22,641.75 with a decline of 0.11 percent or 24.55 points on Tuesday. At the time of market closing, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 16 shares were on the green mark and 34 shares were on the red mark.

Among the 50 stocks of Nifty pack, the highest rise on Tuesday was in Apollo Hospitals by 3.13 per cent, Hindalco by 2.05 per cent, ICICI Bank by 1.89 per cent, Infosys by 1.39 per cent and Bajaj Finserv by 1.12 per cent. Apart from this, a decline of 1.78 percent was recorded in Titan shares, 1.59 percent in Hero MotoCorp, 1.52 percent in Coal India, 1.35 percent in Reliance and 1.21 percent in Asian Paint.
Situation of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, the highest rise of 1.13 percent was recorded in Nifty Metal. Apart from this, a rise of 0.45 percent was recorded in Nifty Private Bank, 0.53 percent in Nifty Realty, 0.25 percent in Nifty Healthcare Index, 0.04 percent in Nifty IT, 0.36 percent in Nifty Financial Services and 0.31 percent in Nifty Bank. Apart from this, there was a decline of 0.31 percent in Nifty Auto, 0.62 percent in Nifty FMCG, 1.26 percent in Nifty Media, 0.19 percent in Nifty Pharma, 0.79 percent in Nifty Consumer Durables, 0.44 percent in Nifty Oil & Gas and 0.84 percent in Nifty PSU Bank.
