Chances of rain in many districts of North East and South East Bihar.The Meteorological Department expressed the possibility of rain on 4, 5 and 6 May. Pusa Agriculture Meteorological Department issued special advice for farmers.
Patna. There is a stir due to cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal and there is a possibility of change in the weather of Bihar due to the influence of western disturbance. There is a possibility of drop in temperature in many districts of North Bihar in the next 1-2 days. This is because light to moderate rainfall is expected in the sky. If the cyclonic circulation continues to create favorable conditions, then after May 5, there will be light rain at isolated places in the districts of North Bihar. Further, the names of those districts where there is a possibility of rain and also the names of such districts where heat wave conditions will persist are given.
According to the Meteorological Department, the areas where Rain This will continue and the wind speed may remain high at that time. During this period, the maximum temperature may drop from May 6 and it may remain between 35-37 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature can remain around 22-25 degrees Celsius. According to Meteorological Center Patna, there will be rainfall in many districts of Kosi, Seemanchal and North Bihar on Saturday i.e. today and Sunday i.e. 5th May, which will affect the entire state and the maximum temperature may drop. According to the Meteorological Department, change in weather will be seen in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar, Madhepura, Saharsa and Purnia districts on May 4 and the possibility of drizzle has been expressed in 14 districts on May 5.

Whereas, there will be heat wave conditions in 17 cities including the capital Patna.
People of these districts will have to wait
The Meteorological Department has warned that severe heat conditions will prevail in Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal, Jehanabad and Gaya districts for the next few days and people will have to wait for relief. Heat wave warning has been issued in these districts till May 5. Along with this, there is a possibility of hot days in Kishanganj and Gaya of the state. Meanwhile, Pusa Agriculture Meteorological Department has advised the farmers that due to change in weather after May 5, there is a need to be cautious in agricultural work in view of light drizzle and moderate rainfall in some places.
Good advice from Pusa for farmers
According to Pusa Agro-Meteorological Department, harvesting and drying of wheat, pigeon pea and Rabi maize should be done carefully. It is advisable to thresh the harvested wheat and store it in a safe place. Irrigation of currently standing crops should be stopped keeping the weather in mind and if there is no rain then do irrigation work only after that. Spraying of pesticides should be done only when the sky is clear. Fields can be prepared for sowing of turmeric and ginger and farmers have been advised to sow turmeric and ginger from May 15.
