Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, had recently announced that it will soon increase the price of its vehicles. Now the company has informed through a press release that the prices of the vehicle portfolio will be updated from January 4, 2022, after which the price of vehicles will increase.

According to the information shared by the company, the ex-showroom price of the vehicles will be increased by about Rs 2,000. Which depends on different models. The company has announced an increase in the prices of vehicles citing the increase in commodity prices. Hero MotoCorp’s press release states that, “Ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters will be increased from the next 4th January, 2022. The price revision has become necessary to partially offset the impact of the continuous increase in the prices of commodities.”
Let us tell you that this will be the third increase in the prices of Hero MotoCorp’s two-wheelers within the last 6 months. The company had increased the ex-showroom prices of motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 3,000 on July 1, followed by up to Rs 3,000 on September 20.

Even before this, the company had cited the commodity price only. It is not that only Hero MotoCorp is going to increase the prices of vehicles, apart from this, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Renault, Tata Motors, Honda Cars India and Toyota are also preparing to increase the prices. Although no official announcement has been made about it yet.
