Dhar (New Zealand Representative). So far no student has been returned from Ukraine in the district. Good news has been received that soon these boys will get a chance to come to India and will reach their district too. From the administration to the government, through helpline etc., all efforts are being made to help them. Parents are also constantly expressing concern in this regard.
Yash Verma’s mother Nanda Verma, who stayed in Kiev, told that the son has been contacted. They are told that soon they will be driven out of the city of Kiev. Efforts will be made to bring India from there. The curfew and other strictures going on there are coming to an end soon. He said that the situation is good now. The widows have to pass their time by eating rice. Bread is not available. There is definitely a problem with food there, but when there is a war time, even in such circumstances, the poor have to live. He told that it is a matter of few days. We have also received information from the helpline 181 of Madhya Pradesh government that they will be brought soon. Here some students are currently traveling towards Romania. The biggest challenge in this is that children are reaching the border of other countries by walking many kilometers. The glimmer of hope is that these people will return to India soon. The government is making special arrangements for them.
