A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Supaul district of Bihar, where a father has accused the village sarpanch of molesting his three daughters. It has been told on behalf of the victim that a girl’s nose was cut off with a sharp weapon when she resisted the molestation. The victim is a resident of Lodh village under Sadar police station.
In her written complaint to the police, the victim has accused the elected sarpanch Mohammad Mustakim and his henchmen of molesting her three daughters. The injured girl is being treated at Supaul Sadar Hospital. In view of the critical condition of the girl, the doctors have referred her to the Higher Medical Center.
The victim has said in her statement that her daughters were in the room. During this, the sarpanch and his henchmen entered the house with weapons and started molesting my three daughters. During this, when one of my daughters protested, the sarpanch attacked her with a spear, which cut off her nose. Later the villagers gathered and attacked the sarpanch and his henchmen, forcing them to flee. The father took the injured daughter to the hospital and on Sunday lodged a complaint with the police.
On the other hand, Sarpanch Mohammad Mustakim dismissed the allegations and said that they are trying to malign my image. The sarpanch has denied the allegation of molesting and biting his nose. A complaint has also been lodged at the police station on behalf of the sarpanch, in which it has been said that he and his supporters were attacked with weapons. Three people got injured in this attack. The Sarpanch has demanded an impartial inquiry into the incident.
SHO of Sadar Police Station Manoj Mehta has said that the police is probing the matter and action will be taken against those found guilty. He said that the girl is being treated at the Sadar Hospital.
