The business industry of the city is closed for the last 10 days due to Corona. Due to which the traders are incurring huge losses. Understanding the situation, the Confederation of All India Traders has demanded Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and Home Minister Pradeep Singh Jadeja to open all the markets. The trader is in trouble due to the mini lockdown for a month. There is no income of any kind. Whereas many types of expenses including wages of workers, shop rent, light bills, bank interest are associated with them. The supply of many commodities has also been affected due to the closure of business for more than 10 days due to mini lockdown.
Real estate also closed due to closure of retail sector
The government has kept the real estate sector running, but due to the closure of shops, the things they do, including steel, cement, ceramic, have come to the point of shutting down the real estate as well. Similarly, AC fridge coolers etc. are sold during the summer, but due to the closure of electronic showrooms, that too is in trouble. In the month of March, big companies dump their goods with the retailer due to achieving their target. This has resulted in stock with the retailer. In this regard, Pramod Bhagat, head of the Gujarat chapter of Kate, said that the High Court had directed that the state government should decide in such a way that business should not suffer, but due to the mini-lockdown, the business industry is suffering a lot. Therefore, the administration should start the business industry only from the 13th. On the other hand, Federation of Surat Textile Traders, an organization of textile traders, has also demanded to start the textile market from 13th.
