New Delhi. Before the onset of monsoon in the state, the government has started to confirm all the arrangements. Detailed guidelines have been issued to complete the cleaning of drains and drains in urban bodies before the rainy season so that people do not have to face problems during monsoon due to water logging. On Thursday, instructions have been issued to the municipal commissioners of the municipal corporations of Lucknow, Aligarh, Agra, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad, Kanpur Nagar, Meerut to clean all the drains, small, big and medium. Under which orders have been given to complete the work by June 25. All the information received from these municipal corporations will be sent to the government by June 26.
Drone cameras will be surveyed in all such big drains located in the state bodies, whose cleaning work has been completed and such drains which have been waterlogged earlier due to lack of cleaning work. After the survey is done with the drone camera, complete information about the condition, length, width and depth of those drains will be sent to the Directorate of Local Bodies along with photographs and videographs.
During the survey, other flaws will also be closely monitored.
Keeping in mind the seasonal diseases across the state, the Yogi government is going to start the cleanliness drive of drains on a large scale. Lucknow Municipal Commissioner Ajay Dwivedi informed that drone survey has started in Lucknow. Small, big and medium drains have been cleaned. Work on the second round is going on, we will achieve the target within a week. He said that if any other flaws are found in the survey done by drone, then they will also be worked out.
