New Delhi. Action may also be taken against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the case of misbehavior and assault with Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. National Commission for Women (NCW) Chairperson Chief Rekha Sharma said that Swati Maliwal has recorded her statement with the police yesterday and the police has also registered an FIR. We had asked for the report from the police and we have received it. Arvind Kejriwal’s PA and accused in this case Vibhav Kumar have not yet responded to our notice. Today the Women’s Commission team will again issue notice to Vibhav.
#WATCH , Delhi: On being asked if Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is protecting Bibhav, NCW chief Rekha Sharma says “I think he (Arvind Kejriwal) has chosen his side. He doesn’t want to be on Maliwal’s side. He believes in Bibhav more than Swati Maliwal.” pic.twitter.com/oU34v4oso8

Rekha Verma also said that if Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is found guilty in this case, action will be taken against him by the police and the Women’s Commission. An FIR has been registered against Vibhav under Section 323, Section 354, Section 506 and Section 509 of the IPC and the police is looking for him. At present nothing is known about Vibhav. Let us tell you that on May 13, Swati Maliwal was misbehaved and beaten by Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Vibhav Kumar at his official residence.
Swati narrated the incident in her FIR that Vibhav started abusing me without any provocation and slapped me repeatedly. He hit me on my chest, face, stomach and lower part of my body. Swati Maliwal broke her silence on the entire matter and said that what happened to me was very bad. I have given my statement to the police on the incident. Hope appropriate action will be taken. Earlier, Swati’s medical test was conducted at AIIMS on Thursday, which revealed internal injuries on her face. Swati’s medical test lasted for about 3 hours in which X-ray and CT scan were also done.
