New Delhi. Indian-origin fast bowler Saurabh Netravalkar played an important role in giving America a historic victory against Pakistan. Saurabh turned the tables by sending legendary batsmen like Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar to the pavilion in the super over in the 11th match of the T20 World Cup 2024. He has been in the news since then. Former director of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders Joy Bhattacharya has said that I do not like Saurabh.
Former KKR director Joy Bhattacharya, while talking to Cricbuzz, said, “Before the 2008 IPL, there were trials in Mumbai. I asked to sign Saurabh. I told the team management that even if we don’t play him right now, we should sign him. But unfortunately he was busy with his exams at that time. I don’t like Saurabh Netravalkar. He is a boy who makes us look inadequate. He is an engineer. He has studied from the best engineering college. He is also playing national cricket. He also won the super over against a team like Pakistan. He also plays the ukulele. He sings well and is also a good person. I don’t understand how a boy can have so many qualities.”
