T20 World Cup 2024 England Team: The T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in June. Teams have started being announced for this. T20 series will be against Pakistan before the World Cup
It has been told by the England Cricket Board that the team which has been selected for the World Cup, will also be a part of the series against Pakistan before that. Four matches will be played in this series. It is being told that fast bowler Joffra Archer has recovered from his right elbow injury and has been included in the team. Earlier, Joffra Archer played his last T20 International match against Bangladesh in March 2023. Tom Hartley and Will Jack have been included in the team as players who have not participated in any ICC world tournament before. Now they are being given a chance.
Players can go before IPL
Meanwhile, there is also news that the players who have been selected for the T20 World Cup and are also playing IPL, will already return to their country. This series will start from May 22 at Headingley. On Wednesday 4 June, the England team will be seen playing its first match against Scotland at Kensington Oval, Barbados. The team will fly to the Caribbean on May 31 for the World Cup.
