Dr. Preeti Pandey, senior dietician of Apollo Hospital, said that in summer people should try to drink as much water as possible, because the body consists of 70% water. In such a situation, during the summer season, it is important that you drink 2 liters of water a day. He told that one can also drink lemonade prepared at home.

Dr. Preeti Pandey told that if you sweat a lot then you should drink at least four liters of water and this water is not necessary to be a normal bottle water but you can drink mango panna, sugarcane juice, normal juice or any kind of water. You can take juice but just take care of cleanliness. He told that in summer one has to just try to ensure that there is no shortage of water in the body. If there is shortage of water, you may have to suffer from many types of physical diseases.
Avoid fried food in summer
Dr. Preeti Pandey told that if we talk about food, people should eat less heavy food like fast food, junk food, fried food in summer. This will not upset their stomach and they will not fall ill. During the summer season, eat as light food as possible which gets digested quickly. Because metabolism works slowly in summer. Due to which food gets digested late. If you eat lightly, the food will be digested at the right time and will also keep you healthy. He told that the amount of fruits in the diet should be increased as much as possible.
