Kanker. CBSE, like every year, organized the Heritage India Quiz during the unforgettable period of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav for affiliated schools across the country. In which the children of Jaypee International School, the leading institution of the city, participated as participants under the guidance of Swati Kumari, the social science teacher of the institution.

It is to be known that the main objective of organizing CBSE Heritage India Quiz is to make aware of the monuments, human heritage, diversity and diversity built in the whole country including the district, state so that the heritage places are preserved and it inspires the future generations of the country. For this initiative was taken by the board. This is a step towards the necessary efforts to protect and preserve our vast cultural heritage, in which all schools were directed to participate. As a result, children of class VI to XII of Jaypee International School participated enthusiastically in this competition.
This year the theme of the Heritage India Quiz was India’s Freedom Struggle. The quiz was conducted virtually from January 28 to February 28, 2021. In this quiz competition, questions related to India’s freedom struggle, Yoga and Martial arts, Historical monuments, Indian classical folk dance, Indian classical / folk music, painting, sculpture, handicrafts, Indian scriptures and ecological heritage etc. were asked in which school students were asked. The students performed well and raised the honor of the school and Kanker district.
Certificate will also be issued by CBSE
The special feature of the quiz was that the students had the choice of Hindi and English language. It was available on both MyGov and Diksha platforms. Certificates will also be issued by CBSE to all the students who take part in the quiz. For this special achievement, all the participating students were congratulated by the Chairman of the school Pratap Rai Gidwani, Director Shankar Gidwani, Academic Advisor Govind Mudaliar, Principal, Vice Principal and all the teachers.
