There is chaos all around in Bangladesh at this time. The violence that erupted on the issue of reservation has engulfed the entire Bangladesh. A large number of people have been killed. Wherever you look, there is looting and arson. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to leave the country and take refuge in India. This act of fundamentalists in Bangladesh is being strongly condemned everywhere. Famous Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen has also expressed concern over Bangladesh burning in the fire of violence. She has held Sheikh Hasina responsible for this situation.
Taslima Nasreen, who is living in India after being exiled from Bangladesh, has written on her social media account x, “In 1999, when my mother was on her last breath and I entered Bangladesh to see her, Sheikh Hasina expelled me from her country to please the fundamentalists. I was never allowed to enter the country again. The same fundamentalists were involved in the student movement who forced Hasina to leave the country today.”
Taslima Nasreen writes, “Sheikh Hasina had to resign and leave the country. She is herself responsible for her situation. She encouraged fundamentalists. She allowed her people to get involved in corruption. Now Bangladesh should not become like Pakistan. The army should not rule. Political parties should bring democracy and secularism.”
Taslima’s anger did not stop here. Two days ago, she wrote calling Sheikh Hasina a Frankenstein – “Sheikh Hasina is like Frankenstein. She created monsters by sponsoring a large number of mosques and madrassas, allowing misogynistic Islamic preachers to brainwash the youth and making Islamic school degrees equal to secular university degrees. Now those same monsters want her to go away.”
In English literature, there is a mention of a scientist, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who created a monster. And that monster destroyed the scientist’s family and friends.
Taslima Nasreen, who wrote the famous novel ‘Lajja’, has also shared a video on her X account, which shows that some fundamentalists are attacking the houses of the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The screams of women can be heard in the video. Sharing this video, Taslima has written – “Today fundamentalists are trying to forcefully enter a Hindu house in Noakhali. The fundamentalists are trying to break the gate of Tanushree Bhatt’s house. The women are scared, they are crying.”
Today Islamists r trying to enter by forcing into a Hindu home in #noakhali,
