Company extended warranty and free service till June 30
Tata Motors has given a big relief to its passenger vehicle customers. The company has extended the warranty and free service for these customers till June 30. This means that customers whose vehicle warrants were to expire between April 1 and May 30 can now avail this facility till June 30.
In this regard, the company said on Tuesday that this decision was taken due to the effect of the second wave of Corona and the lockdown. Many customers cannot take advantage of maintenance service during this time. Due to the lockdown, they are not able to go out of the house. Considering the benefits of the customers, the company has termed it as a good decision towards providing easy and hassle free after sales service to the customers. In view of these factors, the warranty and free service time have been extended.
Let us tell you that there is no increase in the number of kilometers apart from the time taken to take advantage of this benefit. That is, you will not get the benefit of this facility after completing a certain kilometer under the conditions. Tata Motors said that due to the increasing impact of Kovid-19, restrictions have been imposed on the movement of people. Hence, customers across the country cannot send their vehicles to the service centre. Because of this their vehicles are not being maintained and repaired.
Dimple Mehta, president of customer care at the company, said that whenever the time for warranty and free service comes, it will be done as per the company’s policy. We are committed to supporting our customers. Therefore, the warranty and free service for customers whose vehicles were being completed in April and May have been extended. The company recently announced that it has launched a business plan in the interest of protecting its customers, dealers and suppliers.
