This decision is not a decision of the government but a wise decision of the Gram Panchayat.
According to the information, this decision was taken when a person who had recently returned from the Gulf country was found to be Omicron positive. The corona test of this person’s mother has come positive. His sample genome has been sent for sequencing and the report is awaited. Health officials have isolated the person and admitted him to a hospital in Hyderabad, where his condition remains stable.
Let us tell you that the villagers will now have to stay at home during the lock down of 10 days. The Gram Panchayat has also made a provision to provide necessities of life to the people so that people do not have to go out and the lockdown can be strictly enforced. 14 cases of Omicron have been reported in Telangana.
