New Delhi. The Central Government has made a big claim about the Rohingya in the Delhi High Court. The Central Government has filed an affidavit in the High Court saying that some Rohingyas have links with Pakistani terrorist organizations. The government has said that this has been revealed in the investigation of security agencies. The government has said in the court that this is a matter of deep concern for the security of the country. The reason for this affidavit of the Center is the application of a woman in the Delhi High Court. In this application, the woman has said that she is a resident of Myanmar. She is not a Rohingya and wants to go through India to re-settle her husband in the US, but the government has rejected her application.
On this, the bench of Justice Yashwant Verma had sought a reply from the Central Government. In its reply, the government has said that illegal migrants are coming from neighboring Myanmar. These people come from the international border in Benapole, Hili, Haridaspur in West Bengal. Apart from this, they also enter India from the Sonmora border of Tripura. The agents who bring them are providing all the facilities. There has been a large number of illegal migrants coming to India from neighboring countries. The government also told the court that due to these illegal migrants, there has been a big change in the population of the border states. This is also affecting the fundamental and fundamental rights of the citizens of the country.
Let us tell you that since 2012, a large number of Rohingyas have come to India. The central government had made preparations to send them back to Myanmar, but some human rights activists filed an application against it in the Supreme Court. At present, the Center has asked all the states to keep all the identified illegal migrants, including Rohingya, as detention centers there.
