Manju, who made the poster of ‘The Kashmir Files’ with her own blood, has been praised by the film’s director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri himself. After this Live Hindustan had an exclusive conversation with Manju, a resident of Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. During this, Manju, a fine artist by profession, openly expressed her feelings. Along with this, he also told from where he got the idea to make this poster.
Seeing the picture, I thought I had to do something different.
Manju told that I am a fine artist by profession. Artists are very emotional. I am also very emotional. He told that my daughter told me that a very good film has come. After that we went to see this film. Seeing the picture, I thought that I have to do something different. Whatever has happened to my people was not seen from me. I have not been seen. It was from here that the idea of making this painting arose in my heart.
no one was ready to draw blood
No one was ready to draw blood. During a conversation with us, Manju told that the biggest problem had to be faced for blood removal. He said that Mom and Dad were also refusing. Those people whom he said were refusing to draw blood. Then the pathology person was called for home sample collection. When he gave a container of blood, I told him that brother, I will not lie to you, I have no problem but I want this blood. On this he asked why, then I said that I have to make a painting. Then I told him that I wanted two more syringes. On this he said that no, ma’am, we do not do this. Then stressed. I said, take it out with my left hand and give it to me because I have to make a painting with the right hand. After a lot of convincing, he took out the blood and gave it to me.
Proud to see Vivek Agnihotri’s tweet
When asked which scene of the film she found most frightening, Manju said that the truth has been shown in the film in such a way that it gives goosebumps to the entire film. Some people are saying that blood has to be shed like this. It would have been better if you donated blood. To this Manju said that I did this voluntarily. No one was pressurizing me. I have my own blood, I will use it as I have to. What people are saying is their opinion. People will keep saying something or the other. I would say to such people that you also show something like this so that the world sees you. Manju said that the film’s director Vivek Agnihotri has tweeted her. It’s great to see this. She said that seeing Vivek Agnihotri’s tweet, I am feeling very proud that he tagged me.
