Bangladeshi actress Raima Shimu, who went missing since last Sunday, was found dead in the capital Dhaka. On Monday, the dead body of the actress was found in a sack near Hazratpur Bridge in Keraniganj. After the actress went missing, the family members lodged a complaint with the police about the actress’s disappearance.
According to Dhaka police, Raima’s body was found in two pieces on the roadside near Hazratpur Bridge. Police sent the body to Midford Hospital for postmortem and the matter is being investigated. According to the police, the body of the actress was found on the roadside near Hazratpur Bridge in Dhaka’s Keraniganj’s Alipore area on Monday morning. The body was kept in a sack. The actress also had injury marks on her neck. Police have arrested six people including the actress’s husband and his friend in the case.
Raima lived in Green Road, Dhaka. The family consists of husband and two children. She left home on Sunday morning to shoot, but did not return till late in the evening. After this the family lodged a complaint with the Kalabagan police station.
The 35-year-old actress started her film career with the 1998 film Bartman. Till now he had acted in a total of 25 films. In addition to working in films, she was also a member of the Bangladesh Film Art Association and acted in TV plays and produced work.
