Osama built a house for his family in Abbottabad, Pakistan
Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, was killed inside the house in 2011. Despite living in a very secretly built house, the operation was carried out by locating the house of Osama bin Laden. According to information in a new book, The Rice and Fall of Osama bin Laden, the CIA identified bin Laden on the basis of the number of clothes he was wearing in his house. The book is written by CNN national security analyst and former CNN producer Peter Bergen.
According to the book, bin Laden’s house was completely destroyed after the 9/11 attacks in America. Bin Laden was hiding in the mountains of Afghanistan and northern Pakistan. After this Obama vowed to bring his entire family together. For which bin Laden had asked his bodyguard to buy a piece of land and build a house in Abbottabad, Pakistan. According to bin Laden, his bodyguard had built a three-storey house in Abbottabad. In which four bedrooms were built on the first and second floor. A bedroom, study, bathroom and terrace were built for the laden living on the top floor.
From the year 2005, everyone started visiting this house. Bin Laden’s bodyguard also lived with him. He was not allowed to interact with anyone. One day in 2010, a Peshawar spy allegedly saw bin Laden’s bodyguard in a crowd and chased him. After which he reached bin Laden’s private house. The house was known only as the home of bin Laden’s bodyguard. However, there were some things in the house, seeing that the CIA’s suspicion increased. There was no telephone and cable line in the house, apart from this there were very few windows in the house.
The CIA kept an eye on clothes kept out to dry outside the house, which showed them to be much more than just the bodyguard and his family. After which the CIA presented all the evidence to the then President Obama. In the end, an operation was launched by the US military, in which Osama bin Laden was killed.
