The country’s largest automaker Tata Motors is soon preparing to give a major update to its best selling electric SUV Tata Nexon. Recently, the newly updated version of this SUV has been spotted during testing. It is being told that the company will launch it with a new 40 kWh capacity battery, which will be sold along with the existing 30.2 kWh battery pack. This car will not only be safer than before but its driving range will also be better.
Not only will the battery pack be updated in this SUV, but disc brakes are also being given on all wheels. The blacked out alloy was camouflaged in the testing model, but it is expected that the design of the rim will also be updated. In the current car, the company gives disc brakes only in the front wheel, when this feature is included in all the wheels, then the driving will be more balanced and comfortable, along with this the safety of the SUV will also increase.

Although no information has been received about its interior yet, but it is believed that the company will update it as well. It can also get an updated infotainment system with new upholstery. Apart from this, there will be no change in the exterior design, it will be the same as the current model.
In the current model, the company uses an electric motor of 129 PS, which is mounted on the front axle. This electric SUV comes with a battery pack of 30.2 kWh capacity and the company claims that this car can travel up to 312 km (ARAI) on a single charge. In this, the company has also given a fast charging system, due to which its battery gets charged up to 80 percent in just 1 hour. It is being told that the SUV with the larger battery version will give a driving range of up to 400 km.

The updated Nexon EV is expected to arrive by the end of this year or early 2023. With the new update, its price can also see an increase. The current model is priced between Rs 14.29 lakh to Rs 16.90 lakh, which varies for different variants.
