A mail came from Russian Services at IGI Airport. The mail mentioned that a bomb was placed in the plane going to Dubai. When security officials investigated it, nothing was found.
New Delhi. Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) is where millions of people from all over the world pass through every day and their security is the responsibility of Indian agencies. Everything was going well till 9:30 am on Monday and a plane was ready to leave for Dubai from IGI Airport. The passengers had taken their seats and the cabin crew members were giving necessary security instructions to the passengers. Then the security officers posted at the airport received a mail from Russia and suddenly panic spread among the security personnel. In a hurry, instructions started being given to the pilot of the flight and dozens of security personnel ran towards the plane.
A senior police officer said that an email was received at 9.35 am at IGI Airport which said that a bomb was planted in a flight going to Dubai. On reading the mail, the security officials got nervous and immediately evacuated the flight and checked it thoroughly. After about an hour of hard work, it was found out that there was no bomb in the plane and it was a hoax call.

Delhi is in trouble for many days
This was not the first incident of a hoax call, for the past few days the security agencies of Delhi are quite troubled by such calls. On 12th June itself, information about bombs being planted in two museums of Delhi, National Museum and Rail Museum, as well as mental health institutes IHBAS and VIMHANS was given through e-mail.
nothing came out in the investigation
Security agencies are not taking any email lightly and any kind of information is being thoroughly investigated. As soon as threats are received on phone calls or emails, the bomb squad and disposal team reach the spot and investigate thoroughly. However, till now, no bomb or any other suspicious object has been found in any of the emails or phone calls received. Earlier on April 30, there was a false news of a bomb being planted in Chacha Nehru Hospital and on May 1, there was a rumour of bombs in 150 schools of Delhi.
Mail comes from Russia’s service
One thing common in all these hoax mails is that all the mails come from a mailing service company based in Russia. Apart from this, some fake emails have also come from a mailing service company based in Cyprus. However, till now nothing said in any email has been proved true and the Home Ministry is getting these mails investigated.
