Now the weather has started changing in the country’s capital Delhi as well, but the monsoon has not become active here yet. According to the IMD forecast, the effect of Western Disturbance will be seen in Delhi. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms in Delhi and surrounding areas on Saturday. This may provide some relief to the residents of the capital who are scorching heat.
IMD has issued a fresh forecast regarding the weather of Delhi. The Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy sky and dust storm or thundershowers and light rain on Saturday (8 June 2024). The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 42 and 29 degrees Celsius respectively. Let us tell you that the mood of Delhi’s weather is constantly changing in the last few days. Two days ago also there was rain with strong winds in Delhi-NCR. Delhiites are facing severe heat. The temperature is constantly above 40 degrees Celsius, creating heat wave-like conditions.
Weather pattern changed in Rajasthan
There was a sudden change in the weather in Dausa on Friday afternoon, yellow clouds covered the sky and after that there was a strong storm. Life was completely affected by the storm. Tin roofs were blown away at many places in the district. At the same time, electric poles and trees also fell in the rural areas. The toll booth of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was also damaged due to this storm. It also rained after a very strong storm. During this time, drizzle was seen for a few minutes in the areas of the district and at some places there was heavy rain. The weather became pleasant due to the storm first and the rain after that and people breathed a sigh of relief from the heat.
IMD’s Orange Alert
Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted dust storm and light rain in Delhi late Friday evening. The maximum temperature was recorded at 43 degrees Celsius. According to the forecast of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there was a possibility of dust storm with wind speed of 50 to 60 kilometers in Delhi late in the evening along with light rain. The IMD had said that the weather of the city has changed due to the effect of a new western disturbance. According to an IMD bulletin, an orange alert was issued in the national capital on Friday.
