Pune Hit and Run Case: The father of the minor accused of Pune hit and run has been arrested. But before his arrest, he had hatched a big conspiracy to save himself and his son. He had absconded from Pune as soon as the case was registered, but his arrest has solved many questions of the police and crime branch. Actually, he had hidden the ‘mobile’, the important clue of this incident, somewhere. But he had no luck in police custody and spilled out all the secrets. The crime branch has found that mobile, many important clues are buried in it, the police will easily be able to crack down on the father and son.
It is known that the crime branch has now started questioning the grandfather of the minor accused. The police is questioning businessman Vishal Agarwal, his father Surendra Kumar Agarwal and minor son. It is alleged that the minor was driving the car on the day of the incident. He was driving the car at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour in an intoxicated state. In a few moments, he crushed two engineers from Madhya Pradesh with his Porsche car.
Father admitted his mistake
Vishal Aggarwal is being questioned because he allowed his minor son to take the car and allowed the driver, who did not even have a driving license, to drive the car. It is being told that during interrogation, he admitted that he had made a “mistake” by giving a luxury car to his son on the night of 18th May, due to which the accident took place in the early hours of 19th May.
The matter is related to Chhota Rajan
Elderly Surendra Kumar Aggarwal is being interrogated in a 15-year-old case in which he is accused of ordering the killing of former Shiv Sena councilor Ajay Bhosale over a business dispute in October 2009. The case is currently pending in the court, and the crime branch is investigating his links with mafia Chhota Rajan.
48 thousand rupees spent on the party
Authorities are interrogating the minor, who has become a national headline, in a juvenile home. He has been kept there since May 22 after public anger surfaced in the case. The minor had spent Rs 48 thousand on a party with his friends in a restaurant and pub. There, without confirming his age, he was served highly intoxicating liquor of imported brand. Apart from this, the pub was kept open even after the prescribed time limit.

After partying, the minor started driving his Porsche at a high speed. The car hit a motorcycle carrying two people – Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhiya (both 24) – who were returning home after a reunion with friends. Within just 15 hours, the accused was released on bail using family influence. As punishment, he was asked to write an essay on the Porsche accident, and agreed to work with the Yerawada traffic police department for a fortnight and undergo medical counselling for de-addiction.
three arrests have been made
Three accused outside the Agarwal family were also arrested in the case on May 20. These include Koji Restaurant owner Prahlad Bhutada, manager Sachin Katkar and bartender Sandeep Sangle. All three are currently in police custody (till May 24). The Excise Department raided the restaurant on Wednesday and sealed it.
