Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin informed through the social media site ‘X’ that the armed man was killed.
“National police officers in Rouen this morning killed an armed man who apparently wanted to set fire to a Jewish synagogue in the city,” he said. I congratulate the officers for taking immediate action and for their courage.” The Home Minister did not give any further information.
