Pakistan’s claim
Pakistan’s Army on Thursday said it has detected a missile allegedly coming from India into its airspace that fell in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar told the media, ‘At 6.43 pm on March 9, a high-speed object took off from Indian territory and deviated its way into Pakistani territory. entered and fell. There has been some damage to civilian areas due to the fall of the missile, but no one was killed in it.
On discovering this, the Pakistan Air Force started its search operation. Apart from this, Pakistan summoned the consulate in-charge of India and lodged a strong protest and demanded a detailed and transparent investigation of the incident. Pakistan also claimed that this missile came to its territory at a speed of 260 km. There was no immediate reaction from India. The media also did not show any interest in this as Pakistan keeps making such baseless claims frequently. But the latest confession by the Defense Ministry seems to suggest that this time Pakistan’s claim is true.
