Naalchha (Naiduniya News). The nine-day Mahashivratri festival will be celebrated every year at the miraculous Shri Siddheshwar Mahadev Temple (Jugga) situated in the middle of the Chandlav pond. The nine-day Shivratri festival, based on the marriage of Lord Bholenath and Mother Parvati, began on Monday with the story of Shikhar Kalash Yatra and Satyanarayan Bhagwan.
Shikhar Kalash Yatra started from Ram Mandir Rajwada Chowk. In this, Bholenath, Sheshnag, Trishul and Kalash of the temple were kept on a trolley for the devotees to see in the city. The Kalash Yatra reached the temple premises, where the story of Lord Satyanarayan began, while touring the village by band, dhol, tashe and DJ. A large number of devotees were present during this.
Religious events will be held for nine days
Maha Aarti will be done every day for nine days with different attractive makeup of Lord Bholenath with drums and drums. Along with regular religious events, other religious events will be organized along with Akhand Ramayana recitation, Sunderkand recitation, Om Namah Shivaya, Mahamrityunjaya mantra chanting, Bhajan Sandhya and Havan-worship. On the Mahatithi of Mahashivratri, the Kalash will be established lawfully on the newly constructed peak of the temple. A large number of devotees including Nalchha will participate in the said event. The information was given by the priest of the temple, Bhagwat spokesperson Pt. Nirmal Indurkar Maharaj.
Chandlao pond is a historical and religious heritage
The history of Chandlao Talab goes back many years. It is known as a historical and religious heritage. This pond remains the center of attraction of tourists. The pond, spread over an area of about 100 bighas, has taken many features. Along with natural beauty, it also has historical and religious importance. Years ago this pond was constructed, which is known as Chandlav. It is said that it was built by a king named Chandra Lao. Presently it is known as Jugga Talab. Black stone steps are built all around the pond, which is nowhere else in Madhya Pradesh. In this, stones with crocodile-like mouth have been installed at three places.
Nine Days Shiva-Parvati Marriage Begins With Ganesh Pujan
Sardarpur. The nine-day Shiva-Parvati marriage ceremony was started on Monday by Shiv Gaura Mahila Mandal under the Mahashivratri festival at the government Shankar Hanuman temple with Ganesh worship. Bhole Baba was decorated as a groom and the marriage ceremony was performed by applying turmeric and mehndi. During this, the songs of marriage resonated in the temple premises. The president of Shiv Gaura Mandal, Hansa Sharma said that the marriage ceremony of Shiv-Parvati started with Ganesh worship on Monday. Mehndi ceremony will be held on 23 February as part of the marriage ceremony. The Haldi ceremony will be held on 24th February, Battisi on 25th February, Krishna Myra on 28th February and Rudrabhishek of 12 Jyotirlingas in the temple premises on the morning of 1st March. After that, at two o’clock in the afternoon, the procession of Bhole Baba from the temple premises will go on a city tour. Shiva-Parvati marriage will take place at dusk.
