Is a pandemic like Covid-19 going to spread again in the world? This question is not new. Five years ago, the worldwide pandemic had made the world realize that mankind is not prepared to deal with even such a pandemic. According to an expert, now this has to be seriously considered because there are indications that the world is dangerously close to the next epidemic. The reason for this is an avian virus spread by birds which has already started showing its impact in the world.
At present, cases of avian flu among humans are increasing rapidly across the world. Recently, a new case has come to light in Texas, America, which has created deep concern among the medical professionals of the country about the very dangerous and deadly H5N1 strain. This is why Dr. Suresh Kuchipudi, a bird flu researcher from Pittsburgh, has warned that the next epidemic is very close.
The reason for this is that this virus is proving fatal for half of the infected people. Speaking at the White House briefing, Dr Kuchipudi said that this virus had been at the top of the list of epidemics for many years or perhaps decades. But now it has come dangerously close to spreading the epidemic.

H5N1 has already given many indications of being a pandemic virus. It has spread globally. This virus, which is spread by birds, has infected many mammalian animals including humans. This is not a virus that is going to spread, but it has already spread and is spreading.

It can only be hoped that its rate will reduce but it is also possible that it may become more lethal by mutating. Nevertheless, many experts in the world believe that many countries of the world, including developed countries, need to prepare their health systems to deal with the pandemic.
