New Delhi. After the completion of the Lok Sabha elections and the release of the exit polls, the counting of votes is now to take place on Tuesday, but before that political rhetoric is in full swing. Meanwhile, IANS had a special conversation with former Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. During this, he expressed his opinion on many issues very frankly.
The opposition is continuously calling the exit polls wrong. On this, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, “They have no ground under their feet but still they are not convinced. The opposition’s problem is that they are engaged in landlordism without land and jagirdari without jagir. They know very well that they have neither succeeded in giving an alternative nor have they succeeded in convincing the country that they are the alternative to this government.”
He said that on one hand Narendra Modi has been successful in convincing the entire country that the journey of good governance is moving ahead strongly under his leadership. Modi government is working for the empowerment of farmers, poor and farms.
Attacking the Congress, he said that their alliance was showing friendship in Delhi, wrestling in Bengal and quarreling in Punjab. There was no unity in the alliance in many states including Kerala, West Bengal. These people were not successful in giving any message to the public by uniting together. Those with them were well aware that the Congress’s land is barren and they have the dagger of treachery in their hands.
On the statement of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, ‘India alliance will win 295 seats, Rahul Gandhi should become the Prime Minister’, he said that there are many families in the ‘India’ alliance, but everyone’s desire is the same. There are many Mungeris in this alliance but everyone’s dreams are the same.
On Congress’ demand that ballot papers should be counted first like before 2019, he said that we think that if there is any technical issue then the Election Commission will look into it. But, one thing we are seeing is that the result is going to come on the 4th, the All India Alliance is going to lose the election. Therefore, the rehearsal has started as to who should be hit with the hammer of defeat.
On Rahul Gandhi calling the exit polls as Modi exit polls, he said that while fighting with PM Modi, he has now clashed with the media. First, they should decide what their issue is, they themselves are confused in the issue and are trapped from all sides.
