The Congress, which lost power with a crushing defeat in Punjab, has not shown any change so far, but head-football is definitely going on. In the Congress Working Committee meeting on Sunday, Navjot Singh Sidhu and other leaders were blamed for the defeat, describing Charanjit Singh Channi as an asset. But reacting to this, former Congress state president Sunil Jakhar has attacked party leader Ambika Soni in gestures. Sharing the news related to the statement that Channi was an asset, Sunil Jakhar tweeted, ‘An asset – are you kidding? Thank God he was not declared a national fund by the woman who projected him as CM.
Ambika Soni attacked without naming
Further, Sunil Jakhar wrote that Charanjit Singh Channi can be an asset for that woman, but for the party she is just a burden. Not the top leadership of the state, but his leadership has done the work of bringing down and due to this the party has declined. However, later he clarified that my tweet is not meant to attack any one person. I am disappointed at how psychopaths were talked about in the Congress Working Committee meeting. The report states that some leaders sitting in the Rajya Sabha for the last 30 years presented themselves as the voice of Punjab in front of the high command.
Jakhar said – the treatment was more deadly than the disease
Sunil Jakhar said, ‘Congress workers want a leader whom they can trust. A leader from Punjab tried to describe himself as a national heritage in the Congress Working Committee. He can call himself a heritage, but not for the Congress. Next 5 years will be challenging for Punjab and Congress. These people had given recommendations for the post of CM, while now the responsibility of this decision is being put on Rahul Gandhi. The people of Punjab want change, but the person who was brought in to bring about a change made the situation worse. Sunil Jakhar said that the medicine was more deadly than the disease. Even though the name of Ambika Soni has not been taken by the former state president of Congress, but she has clearly been targeted.
