Yoga not only provides relief from physical and mental diseases, it also provides peace and stability for the mother and child. Practicing yoga properly reduces pregnancy problems. Doing yoga during pregnancy helps in staying healthy and positive, along with this, physical difficulties like back pain, fatigue and mental worries during pregnancy can be reduced.
In conversation with Local 18, Neha Thakur, co-founder and yoga trainer of Yoga Center located in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, explains that yoga is done not only during the 9 months of pregnancy but also before and after those 9 months, which are prenatal and It is called postnatal yoga. Compared to other exercises during pregnancy, yoga promotes sensitivity and provides patience and stability to the mother during delivery. These three yoga asanas prove to be very effective during pregnancy.

He said that this practice during pregnancy helps in supplying blood to the uterus to nourish the baby. To do this yoga asana, sit straight on the bed and bend the knees of both the legs inwards. Now join both the soles of the feet together and hold the feet with both hands. Now move your thighs. This is called butterfly pose.
Trikonasana
Neha further explains that the practice of this yoga asana provides blood supply to the uterus and there is no problem at the time of delivery. To do this yoga exercise, first stand straight, then keep some distance between the legs and while taking a deep breath, bend your body to the right side. Then move your left hand upwards and keep your eyes upward.
Malasana
While describing the next posture he said ThatTo do this yoga exercise, first stand straight and then keep a little distance between your two legs. After that join your hands and sit down slowly. While exhaling, bend forward. Take both your elbows between your thighs at an angle of about 90 degrees. After remaining in this position for a few minutes, come back to your original position.
