Consuming these things has a bad effect on our digestive system and it can increase the body heat. Consuming these foods causes more sweating and can increase the risk of dehydration. People should also avoid junk foods including pizza and burgers in summer.
Dietitian told that excessive tea and coffee should be avoided in summers. In this season, body temperature is already high due to external heat and in such a situation drinking hot drinks can spoil the digestive system. This can cause stomach related problems. Tea and coffee contain high amount of caffeine, which increases the risk of dehydration. Apart from this, consumption of carbonated drinks like cold drinks, sports drinks and soda can also be harmful in summers. This can cause dehydration and stomach problems. Instead of these, drinking lemonade and coconut water is beneficial.
People should avoid non-veg in summers. Non-veg is not an easily digestible food and its excessive consumption increases pressure on the digestive system. It contains high amounts of fat, protein and carbohydrates, which heat up the body while digesting. Therefore, one should avoid eating these things. To stay healthy in summers, one should consume as many fruits and vegetables as possible and drink 3-4 liters of water daily.
