As the cases of financial fraud have increased rapidly in the last few years, these privacy features of Google can eliminate the tension of the users.
In the blog released for Android 15, Google has mentioned these three security features. Users are going to get three new features in Android 15, Private Safe, Theft Detection Lock and Real-time fraud protection. These three features can prevent users from breaking into their phones. Come, let us know in detail about these three new security features of Android 15…
Private Space
While upgrading the Private Safe feature found in Android 14, Google has added this new feature Private Space in Android 15. The special thing about the new feature is that users will see the feature to hide the app in the front. For this, Google has made changes in the interface. Earlier, to hide an app, the user had to go to Settings and go to the Security & Privacy section and hide his apps.
The special thing about Private Space is that users can set separate passwords for the apps hidden in it. In such a situation, even if someone knows the password of your phone, he will not be able to access the apps hidden in Private Space. Also, notifications from those apps will not be visible. Users can hide their banking and social media apps as well as dating apps and apps containing personal information.
Theft Detection Lock
In view of the increasing cyber crimes, Google has added this new feature in Android 15 to keep the personal and financial data of users safe. This security feature will work on Google AI. If someone snatches the phone from your hand, then due to the theft motion detection present in it, the phone will be locked, so that your personal data can be kept safe.
Real-time protection from fraudulent apps
This security feature of Android 15 will also work on on-device AI. If Google Play Protect detects that there is any app in your smartphone that can steal your personal information, then this feature will automatically disable that app and issue a warning to the user. Through this feature, users will be able to identify fake apps containing malware present in their phones and can delete or uninstall them from the phone.
