Volkswagen Taigun price has been fixed at Rs 10.99 Lakh to Rs 17.99 Lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). The car is available in two trims Dynamic line and Performance line, and uses two turbocharged petrol engines 1-litre (115PS/178Nm) and a 1.5-litre (150PS/250Nm) unit. In which the option of a 6-speed manual gearbox is available as standard.
MG Astor
You can also own a compact SUV by buying the MG Aster instead of the Creta, priced between Rs 9.78 lakh and Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). The Aster compact SUV is available in five trims – Style, Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy. The Aster gets two petrol engines, a 1.3-litre turbocharged unit (140PS/220Nm) and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit (110PS/144Nm), with the former mated to a 6-speed automatic, while the latter is mated to a 6-speed automatic. Both 6-speed manual and CVT options are available with it.

Kia Seltos
The Seltos compact SUV is currently priced from Rs 9.95 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). This car is sold in two trims Tech (HT) Line and GT Line. The Kia Seltos gets three engine options: a 1.5-litre petrol (115PS/144Nm), a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol (140PS/242Nm), and a 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm). It gets a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard in the petrol unit and only a 6-speed automatic transmission in the diesel unit. Not only this, the car also gets 7-speed DCT and CVT in optional automatic transmission.
