Now in the midst of these discussions, the company has also revealed when the first electric car BMW iX will be launched in India and it is sooner than people expected.

BMW’s electric car iX will be launched in India only next month. Giving information, BMW India said that the company will launch its electric car in India on 13 December 2021. The BMW iX is the first of the 3 electric vehicles that the company will launch in the country in the next 6 months.

Design and Features
The BMW iX gets a stylish look with a luxury design. Along with luxurious exteriors, this car gets the best and comfortable interiors. The company has used an attractive dashboard with hexagonal shaped steering wheel for this car. It gets a dual-display setup with a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen system loaded with BMW’s new iDrive 8 infotainment software. Apart from this, 4D audio, 5G mobile connectivity, sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), lane keep assist, front collision warning, remote-theft recorder and many more features are included in this electric car.

On behalf of the company, 2 options of 71kWh and 105kWh battery pack have been given in BMW iX. The 71kWh battery pack gives the car a range of 425 kms and the 105kWh battery pack gives the car a range of 630 kms. The car gets 200W fast-charging feature, which takes only 40 minutes to charge the battery from 0-80%.
