Senior Ayurveda doctor Chandraprakash Dixit tells Local18 that the Sheesham tree is a very large tree, which is a storehouse of medicinal properties. This plant contains many such nutrients, which are very beneficial for the body. Many medicinal properties are found in this tree. Its leaves are full of antioxidants, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. Apart from this, minerals are also found in them along with vitamins B, C, D, which are beneficial in many diseases of the body.

Dr. Dixit further tells Local18 that drinking the syrup of its leaves has many health benefits. Drinking the syrup of Sheesham leaves improves digestion. Along with this, consuming it regularly provides relief from gas, indigestion and acidity. Drinking its juice improves oral health and those who have bad breath or toothache and gum pain can also solve the problem by chewing its leaves. But Dr. Dixit says that it should be used only under the supervision and advice of a doctor, because this medicine can also have side effects.

If someone has a mouth related problem like pyorrhea, then chewing its leaves provides relief.
