New Delhi. On August 15 this year, Ola Electric forayed into the electric scooter segment in India with the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters. Both these electric scooters of Ola have got bumper bookings. Now an Indian startup company Bounce is also going to enter the electric scooter segment to compete with Ola. Due to this, Bounce will launch its first electric scooter Bounce Infinity in the Indian market tomorrow i.e. on December 2. The company has claimed that the electric scooter will be completely ‘Made in India’.
Estimated price
The company has not yet disclosed the price of the Bounce Infinity electric scooter. However, according to a report, this electric scooter is expected to be launched at an initial price of Rs 92,000.
Token amount will be only Rs 499
The bookings for the Bounce Infinity electric scooter will start from tomorrow at a token amount of just Rs 499. Although the company has not announced the delivery date of the scooter, it is likely to start in the next few weeks after its launch i.e. from January 2022.
Option to buy scooter without battery
The Bounce Infinity will use a lithium-ion removable battery. Along with this, the company will also offer a special ‘Battery SA Service’ on its first electric scooter. In this offer, customers will get the option to buy this scooter without battery. Along with this, customers will also get the facility of Bounce’s battery-swapping network, which will allow the fully charged battery to be exchanged for the empty battery. For this, they only have to pay for battery-swapping. With this, customers will get this scooter 40% cheaper i.e. around Rs 60,000.
