Simranjit Singh/Shahjahanpur: Banana is considered a superfood. Experts advise most people to eat at least one to two bananas daily. Banana has innumerable benefits. It provides relief from many diseases. Banana is a fruit which is very much liked in Uganda. Along with providing relief from heart diseases, banana also enhances the face. Banana is also considered beneficial for hair.
Dr. Vidya Gupta, scientist of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Niyamatpur, told Local18 that many nutrients like iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, vitamin A, B and B6 are found in banana. Vitamin A and carotenoids are also found.
Controls bad cholesterol
Dr. Vidya Gupta told that potassium and magnesium are found in ripe bananas. Due to which it is helpful in reducing high blood pressure and bad cholesterol. Healthy bacteria are found in bananas which keep the intestines healthy and strengthen digestion.
Consume banana during mental stress
Dr. Vidya Gupta told that due to the tryptophan found in banana, it relieves depression and mental stress. Eating ripe banana increases immunity. Muscles get strengthened. Due to the energy found in banana, it gives instant energy to the body. That’s why most players consume bananas.
Banana cures anemia
Dr. Vidya Gupta told that the fiber, calcium and iron found in banana removes weakness of the body. Provides relief from anemia in women. Apart from this, it keeps the eyes healthy due to the Vitamin A and carotenoids found in it.
Banana also enhances beauty
Dr. Vidya Gupta told that along with eating, ripe banana can also be used to enhance beauty. The skin can be improved by making face pack, decoction and face mask of ripe banana. You can prepare and eat banana custard, muffin, cake, pan cake, jam, jelly, ice cream and shake. A healthy person should eat one to two bananas daily. However, banana should not be consumed on an empty stomach.
