The Daily Mail quoted a study as saying that the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease in 24 percent of people who climbed stairs was reduced by 39 percent. Due to this, deaths due to heart failure and stroke also reduced. Therefore the age of these people increased by 14 years. The study said that even if you do not work in an office, if you use stairs more for commuting, it reduces the risk of many diseases.
Travel up to four-five floors by stairs
The trick of climbing stairs is more successful because nowadays the lifestyle of most people has become sedentary. They go to work and work sitting on chairs the whole day. One in four people do not do physical activity. Professor Dr. Sophie Paddock of the University of East Anglia said that if you have the option of choosing between lift and stairs and you want to stay healthy for a long time, then choose stairs because it will save you from many diseases. Even if you live on a very high floor, make sure to use the stairs up to four-five floors. You can achieve your daily goal by climbing a few stairs.
