However, IMD has warned some states of the country about heatwave for the next 5 days. At the same time, people have also been advised to avoid it. Giving information, IMD has said that heatwave conditions are likely to persist in some parts of northwest and eastern India during the next 5 days.
Alert for entire North India including Delhi
If IMD is to be believed, the condition of Delhiites is going to worsen again due to heat. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the entire North India including Delhi. It was told that the mercury in Delhi is likely to reach 47 degrees Celsius. At the same time, severe heat is also expected in UP and Bihar. IMD recently said that the heat wave will be seen in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Delhi.
What is the condition of Delhi?
The heat in Delhi has made the people sweat and it is not going to reduce for the next 5 days. IMD has issued an orange alert in Delhi NCR from 11 to 13 June. On Monday, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 43 degrees Celsius, while the heat was felt in other areas as well. Narela recorded a temperature of 46.6 degrees, Najafgarh 46.3 degrees Celsius. Ayanagar recorded a temperature of 44.7, Lodhi Road 43.8 and Palam 44.1 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will reach the capital Delhi on June 29.
When will it rain in UP?
In most districts of UP, the temperature ranged between 45 degrees to 47 degrees Celsius. Prayagraj recorded the highest temperature of 47.1 degrees Celsius, while, Varanasi recorded 45.3, Baghpat and Fursatganj 45.2 degrees Celsius, and Fatehpur 45 degrees Celsius. The capital Lucknow also felt the heat, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 44.7 degrees Celsius. If the weather department is to be believed, the monsoon will enter Uttar Pradesh by June 22, only after that will there be relief from the heat.
When will we get relief from the heat in Bihar?
The condition of people is getting worse due to severe heat and heatwave in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there is little hope of getting relief from heat and heatwave till June 14. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding severe heatwave in more than 10 districts. Apart from this, the possibility of heat wave has also been expressed in more than 25 districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon activities will start in Bihar from June 15, only after this rain will be seen in the state.
Rajasthan is also in bad shape
Rajasthan is also suffering in this scorching heat. Many districts are burning. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Churu district was 45.6 degrees Celsius, 45 degrees Celsius in Sriganganagar, 44.8 in Fatehpur and Bikaner, 44.7 in Pilani, 44.3 degrees Celsius in Sangaria. However, in the coming days, the sky may be cloudy in many parts of the state, along with lightning and strong winds are also expected.
Outbreak seen in Jharkhand
The heat has made life difficult for people in the state as well. Heatwaves are going on in many districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heatwave from 12 to 14 June. However, some districts may also receive rain in the coming days.
10 year old record broken in Uttarakhand
Heat has shown its ferocity in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun. On Tuesday, the record of the last 10 years was broken here, while today the temperature here is expected to be 43 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, hot winds are blowing due to the constantly increasing heat. There is little chance of people getting relief in the coming days as well. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 41.8 with a rise of 7 degrees, which is the highest temperature in the month of June in the last 10 years. It is expected that the monsoon will knock in the state after next week.
Chances of rain in these states
IMD further said that heavy rains are likely in West Bengal, parts of Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya during the next 3 to 4 days. It further said that heavy rainfall may occur in some places of Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura on June 13. At the same time, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana today i.e. on June 12. IMD further said that the southwest monsoon has reached some places in the North Arabian Sea, some places in Central Maharashtra and southern parts of Gujarat. This time the monsoon has knocked in Gujarat on Tuesday, 4 days before the scheduled time. According to IMD, the monsoon usually reaches Gujarat by June 15, but this time the monsoon has knocked in Gujarat four days before time.
