In a program of Revenue Land Reforms Department in Patna, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar distributed appointment letters to the candidates. On this occasion, the Chief Minister told the Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh present there that the work of land survey should be completed as soon as possible. The CM said that I am requesting you with folded hands, if you say so, I will even hold your feet, but get the land survey work completed by July 2025. The officers were embarrassed to hear this from the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that I am saying this to everyone that the work should be completed as soon as possible. If this work is completed, it will be a matter of great happiness.
Nitish Kumar further said that the land survey work was to be completed in December 2020, but now even in 2024 this work has not been completed. He said that assembly elections are also to be held in the state in 2025 and all the work should be completed before the elections. Nitish Kumar told the officials that if the work is completed soon, then we will be able to tell the people in the elections that the work has been done. Along with this, the Chief Minister also directed all the District Magistrates to ensure that the land survey work in their respective districts is completed as soon as possible. Nitish Kumar does not want to leave any stone unturned in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar.
