In order to ensure better services along with safe, pleasant and comfortable journey to the railway passengers, Prayagraj Division keeps running ticket checking campaign in stations and trains to curb ticketless travel, irregular travel, unbooked luggage and smoking.

In the ticket checking campaigns conducted in April 2024, 53,273 passengers were caught without tickets and Rs 4,82,81,696 was recovered. Rs 2,80,56,910 was recovered from 50,403 passengers caught on irregular journey. 1189 passengers were caught for littering and Rs 1,27,850 was recovered. 14 passengers were caught for smoking and a recovery of Rs 2800 was made and 263 passengers with unbooked luggage were charged and a recovery of Rs 39,370 was made.
