To make a strong foothold in the electric vehicle segment of the country, Pune-based Tork Motorcycles is all set to launch the Kratos electric motorcycle in the last week of January. Let us tell you, Tork Kratos was earlier known as Tork T6X, and for the last 6 years the company has been testing the bike. We are saying this because, after releasing the T6X teaser in 2016, the company announced in October 2021 that the bike is ready for production, and deliveries will start soon.
Testing continues for 6 years
The Kratos is a made-in-India EV, and packs a Tork LIION lithium-ion battery pack with an axle flux motor, which is said to offer high power and range. However, for the specifications of the bike, we will have to wait for its launch.

The company claims that its Kratos electric bike has gone through some major range of upgrades, and has been given a complete facelift. The company has made many changes to its frame, ergonomics, features and even the battery pack.
‘Made in India’ electric bike
Tork’s Kratos electric bike will come with the company’s in-house home-built operating system called TIROS. Apart from this, the motorcycle will source power from an in-house developed battery of torque and an axial flux motor. Due to which it will be called a completely made product in India. On the other hand, in terms of performance, this bike will be at par with the 150cc-160cc sports commuter motorcycle in India.
