Driving Range and Powertrain:
No information has been shared about the powertrain and mechanism of the Tork T6X. Last month, Tork Motorcycles shared an Instagram post showing off a new electric motor with Axial Flux Technology. The company claims that this motorcycle has an efficiency rating of 90-96%, which is 5-6% better than the conventional motor.
The new motor is claimed to have reduced the battery size and improved its life without compromising on the driving range. “The efficiency of an electric motor is determined by copper and iron losses. Iron losses are significantly reduced in the absence of an iron stator yoke,” Post states.
Let us tell you that in its original model, the company had given an electric motor of 6kW capacity. It is believed that it will be capable of giving a driving range of up to 100 km and its top speed will also be around 100 km per hour. Although it is difficult to say anything about its price before the launch, but it is expected that it can be launched between Rs 1.25 lakh to 1.50 lakh.
