Mumbai There is a political tussle between Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Sharad Pawar’s party NCP. Some time back, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari compared Nitin Gadkari to Chhatrapati Shivaji, after which the NCP started creating ruckus. Now Sharad Pawar’s party NCP has come out on the streets against Koshyari. Governor Koshyari had said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is the ideal of the olden times, now Nitin Gadkari is the ideal. Since his statement, Koshyari is being criticized. Agitation is going on against him on behalf of NCP across the state. In Pune, the NCP demonstrated with an effigy of the governor and took off his dhoti.
Congress and NCP have already protested against Koshyari’s statement, meanwhile, Shiv Sena has also warned of ruckus. Shiv Sainiks say that Bhagat Singh Koshyari should be transferred within two days, otherwise there will be agitation in the entire state. NCP leader Prashant Jagtap said that the central government is testing those who love Shivaji. He said that if the Governor is not transferred in the next two days, the Shiv-loving Governor of Maharashtra will face protests wherever he comes. It is noteworthy that even before this a controversy had erupted over a statement of Bhagat Singh Koshyari regarding Maharashtra. Then Koshyari had said that money has come to Maharashtra because of Gujarati and Rajasthani businessmen. Even at that time there was a lot of political ruckus on this statement of Koshyari.
