Devrat’s health suddenly deteriorated
After 2:30 in the afternoon, Devraj’s health suddenly deteriorated and he died around 5 o’clock. After the death of the injured student, the mother said that the culprit should be punished. She said that the doctors kept misleading us for 4 days. Earlier on Sunday, after the rumor of Devraj’s death, Devraj’s mother reached the hospital with a crowd of women. There was a ruckus in the hospital. Then the mother was allowed to meet him. Prayers were going on continuously in temples in Udaipur since Sunday. Some people from the Muslim community also prayed for Devraj’s safety at the shrine. People from the Muslim community met the District Collector before the student’s death and expressed regret over the incident.
Agreement reached on four demands
1. Security to the family.
2. The trial should be held in a fast track court.
3. Compensation of Rs 51 lakh.
4. The Collector will send a proposal to the Government for immediate employment on contract or permanent employment to the member of the victim’s family.
