New Delhi. Shiv Sena has remained scattered in Maharashtra. Every day leaders and workers from Shiv Sena are joining the faction of CM Eknath Shinde. Now there are reports that Uddhav Thackeray has also suffered a major setback in Amravati. 258 workers, including the taluka president, have left the Shiv Sena and joined the Shinde faction. Earlier yesterday also there were reports that the Shiv Sena is about to be cleared from Palghar as well. Many former councilors and workers, including Lok Sabha member Rajendra Gavit, supported Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Apart from this, all the former councilors of the party from Badlapur municipality have also supported Shinde. Not only this, Lok Sabha member Rajendra Gavit said in his statement that the real Shiv Sena is the Eknath Shinde faction, everything else is fake.
A week before this, former Amravati MP Anandrao Adsul had resigned from the post. However, he did not give any indication of joining the Shinde faction. His son issued a statement saying that his father will always work as a Shiv Sainik. The point to be noted in all this is that there are five metropolitan municipalities in Thane, which are completely dominated by CM Eknath Shinde. Significantly, Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the post of Chief Minister on June 29 after the rebellion in the party. After which Eknath Shinde sat on the CM’s chair after proving his majority. Devendra Fadnavis took over as the Deputy Chief Minister.
