Russia, which is facing continuous sanctions from Western countries due to the attack on Ukraine, may soon get another major setback. Britain has said that among the options before us regarding Russia is to exclude it from the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
Earlier, Britain has also announced that it will not allow any ships belonging to Russia to enter its ports. At the same time, a day earlier i.e. on Monday, Britain had said that no ship with the Russian flag should be allowed to enter.
Russia has said that sanctions from Western countries are not going to change Russia’s stance on Ukraine. On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has termed the Russian attack as undisputed terrorism and called its military action a war crime.
