UltraTech Cement Ltd.’s consolidated net profit in the fourth quarter of FY 2023-24 stood at Rs 2,258.58 crore, a growth of 35.24 percent. The company’s net profit in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2022-23 was Rs 1,670.10 crore. UltraTech Cement Limited informed the stock exchange that during the period under review, the operating income of the company increased by 9.41 percent to Rs 20,418.94 crore. It was Rs 18,662.38 crore in the same period of financial year 2022-23. UltraTech’s total expenses in the January-March quarter increased by 6.67 percent to Rs 17,381.09 crore. The total income of the Aditya Birla Group company increased by 9.42 percent to Rs 20,554.55 crore in the January-March quarter.
Jaiprakash Power Ventures gets profit of Rs 588 crore
Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd’s consolidated net profit stood at Rs 588.79 crore in the March quarter. The company’s profit has increased mainly due to increase in income. In the information given to the stock market, the company said that it had suffered a consolidated net loss of Rs 43.99 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2023. The company’s total income increased to Rs 1,863.63 crore during the quarter under review. Which was Rs 1,385.41 crore in the January-March quarter of 2022-23 compared to Rs 1,385.41 crore in the same period a year ago. Its consolidated net profit for the full financial year 2023-24 increased to Rs 1,021.95 crore.
Trent’s profits increased manifold
Trent Limited, the retail arm of Tata Group, said on Monday that its consolidated net profit increased manifold to Rs 712.09 crore in the fourth quarter of the last financial year ending March 2024. Trent Ltd, which operates retail stores under the brand names Westside, Judio and Star, told the stock exchanges that the company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 44.95 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago. Income from operations increased by 51 percent to Rs 3,297.70 crore during the quarter under review. It was Rs 2,182.75 crore in the same period a year ago.
PNB Housing Finance’s profit increased by 57%
PNB Housing Finance’s net profit in the fourth quarter of FY 2023-24 increased by 57 percent to Rs 444 crore. Earlier, the net profit of the company in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2022-23 was Rs 283 crore. PNB Housing Finance said in its information given to the stock market that its total income increased to Rs 1,806 crore in the quarter under review. It was Rs 1,628 crore in the same quarter of financial year 2022-23. Interest income stood at more than Rs 1,684 crore in the fourth quarter January-March, compared to Rs 1,581 crore in the same period a year ago.
